About Us
Hello! Let me start off by thanking you for visiting our website! We are a small business based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our quaint workshop is tucked away on 20 secluded acres in the Hiawatha National Forest along with our three dogs, and 7 Nigerian Dwarf goats, including two brand new babies!
This all started out as me helping family sell off their 25,000+ vintage ceramic molds, bisque, glazes, tools, etc. from their closed ceramics business. I quickly turned into a collector of any and all holiday ceramic light up pieces. Hundreds of them. And always adding.
I found myself having a hard time finding vintage bulbs that I wanted to use in my ever-growing tree collection. Bulbs such as Sputniks, Astros and Twinkle aka Starbursts. I then found myself needing custom sizes and wanting colors that weren't made in the plastic bulbs readily available to ceramic artists and collectors. So, I began Wes Lights Trees. A business in which I've recreated vintage designs, as well as have created over 85 custom designs for amazing customers and their beautiful projects!
